In any event, I had to acquire the three major credit reporting documents and found that my credit was not compromised, so what gives with SNBC? Another phone call or two would advance this no further; several emails returned with the boilerplate apologetic responses but NOT ONE PERSON WAS ABLE TO ANSWER MY QUESTION OR ENLIGHTEN ME WHY THIS OCCURRED?. I even asked to speak to a supervisor and was told the supervisor would tell me the same thing:.
Guess SNBC is a big operation and doesn't need their cut of the $1000 purchase I was trying to make'. But there is something good here, I went to Amazon and gladly paid the full amount on my credit card and received it next day:. I don't mind doing that, but when SNBC touts their Value Pay, then summarily rejects me, I take issue with that,. Bottom line, SNBC caused me to chase my tail (obtaining credit reports) for no reason?.
Goodbye SNBC, hello Amazon. 128f210

I've shopped with SHOPNBC for years! I've Never had a problem with them, orders, returns, shipping. Nothing. They have Never run my credit and couldn't do so with out your permission AND SSN. Somethings missing from this story. |
| 2. Written by 2beans on August 18, 2011 from poughkeepsie, new york, US Value pay on ShopNBC is a scam...they run your credit for every purchase which every hit hurts your credit so beware...I know someone who made purchases over one weekend when they pulled their credit report a few weeks/mths later ShopNBC had pulled their credit report over 10 times...during that period of time that is outrageous!!! BEWARE of SHOP NBC also they hold your money and wont release it even if ur not approved for value pay |
