2. Written by Louise Bolka on June 24, 2011 from plainsboro, new jersey, US I am very disappointed in invicta watches every one that I purchased fell apart in one way or another in about 3-4 months... And me, like a fool, bought more watches.. Then, I couldn't get to speak to anyone about complaints... For sure , if I get to talk with a host from shop NBC, I will totally Bach invicta watches on the air!!!!
3. Written by Optionsguy on April 21, 2011 from bethpage, new york, US Beware of the fine print! I purchased an Invicta Reserve watch at Shop NBC with a defective crown. The stem became difficult to impossible to screw into the watch. I sent the watch in to Invicta with a $28 check for postage as the Reserve collection supposedly is covered under a five year warranty. They apparently do not include stem issues in their warranty coverage. I wonder what other parts of the watch are not covered and that I would have to pay then for the full cost of fixing their defect. This will be my last Invicta Reserve watch. I am sorry that I own others.
4. Written by Tomp67 on March 25, 2011 from new york, new york, US I have to agree INVICTA service is a complete SCAM don't believe anyone when they tell you your getting a 5 year warranty because your not even getting a 1 year warranty! I invicta bolt that the crystal cracked from the INSIDE, with absolutely no sign of damage from the outside and the only way they'll fix it is if I send 120.00 ! The watch is 5 months old! That is and will be the last invicta watch I buy, they make a great looking watch, it's too bad that if it breaks or has a defect you *** out of luck with them fixing it especially for free ( which is what I thought a warranty was)
5. Written by forestsea on January 1, 2011 from ft. lauderdale, florida, US My experiences with Invicta's service has consistently shown them to be, at best, very poor providers of acceptable customer service. Their new scam is to grossly overcharge customers for alleged "shipping" costs for watch maintenance and repairs. On top of this, they will bill your credit card for unauthorized excess charges. I sent them 2 watches (in one shipment) for a simple battery change. Their posted fees are $28 per watch for alleged return "shipping" costs plus $10 per (diver's) watch for the actual battery replacement. Of course, they could have easily shipped both watches back to me as one combined shipment, but instead, they deliberately shipped them back separately to inflate their so-called "shipping" charges. Obviously, it does not really cost them $28 to ship a watch. But even worse, without my knowledge or authorization, they over-charged my credit card at $60 per watch instead of $38 ($28 + $10) per watch!!! You may have noticed that Invicta has been using the alleged market 'shortage' of Swiss mechanical watch movements as an excuse to now sell the vast majority of their watch models with Swiss quartz (battery powered) movements. I believe that they are deliberately flooding the market with these watches at discounted prices, while quietly raising their service charges, in order to lock in the exorbitant perpetual future income from their service and repair side of their business. This is their new scam to guarantee high future profits for their company. Using this scheme, every watch Invicta sells becomes much more profitable because it generates a lifetime of inflated service revenues.
